FINISHING OIL is for treatment and maintenance of wood surfaces like beach, cherry and alder. The oil will underline the natural structure of the wood and provide a beautiful, lasting and resistant surface. Lighter woods will attain a light yellow color.
Apply with a cloth or brush and wipe off excess oil after 1 hour. New or dried-out wood requires repeated treatments, however, the oil must harden (9-12 hours) between each application.
Oil Sanding: A professional finish can be obtained if the surface is sanded in yet a layer of wet oil. Sand in the grain direction and wipe off excess oil after 15 min.
Contains: Refined linseed oil, aliphatic hydrocarbons, leadfree siccative and antioxidants.
DANGER: Contains: Aliphatic hydrocarbons: may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Flammable liquid and vapor. Contains 2-butanone oxime and fatty acids, branched (C6-C19), cobalt (2+) salts: may produce an allergic reaction.
WARNING: Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Store in a wellventilated place. Keep cool. Used rags may self-ignite and should therefore be soaked in water and packed air-tight in aluminium foil or in a plastic bag before discarding. Keep out of reach of children.
